| I don't really consider myself a "photographer", nor am I pursuing it actively. Every picture I take is snapped with my little Sony Cyber-Shot 7.2 Megapixel Pocket sized camera whenever something captures my attention. I'm so taken by the world, especially the people in it, that what "captures my attention" most of the time, are situations where I feel like the shot will say a lot about who we are as a human race without needing an explanation. I believe that 80% of communication is nonverbal and I look for that communication in the pictures I take, or ones others have taken. I'm also a little addicted to editing my photos so some end up completely different than they started, which is alright with me. I'm a culture vulture (Debbie Hall) and am always trying to experience new things, and am pretty willing to try everything once if I feel it will enrich me or open my eyes to the world a little more. I love controversial things or things that might make others uncomfortable. I like being in my comfort zone, but have always been drawn to the bizarre and socially unacceptable. It's hard to shock or offend me-but if you feel you can do one of the latter, please do so. Like I said-I want to experience and see new things always-shocking and disturbing things included. As long as I feel there's some beauty in the world I'll continue, as I do now, to carry my camera around with me wherever I go, partially to document my life, partially in hopes of capturing some of the essence of the world in my lens. I think photography is about showing everyone else how and what you see in the world through your pictures and as long as I'm moving through the life, and opportunities for that continue to present themselves i'll continue to attempt to capture them. **I like comments, critiques and thoughts about my "work" -Always let me know what you think.
